Emergency Features

Medical alert devices are built for one purpose: getting you help quickly and easily when you need it most. Whether you’ve fallen, feel unwell, or simply need reassurance, the device connects you to trained professionals in seconds.

Pressing the Emergency Button

Every device has a main button—usually large, easy to feel, and placed on the front of the device.

  • 📞 Press and hold for 1–2 seconds.
  • 🔊 You’ll hear a voice or tone confirming the alert.
  • 🎧 A trained operator speaks to you through the device.

🙋 You don’t need to say anything—help is still on the way even if you can’t talk.

Two-Way Voice Communication

Once the alert goes through:

  • A trained emergency response agent speaks directly to you.
  • You can explain what’s wrong—or just listen and respond with “yes” or “no.”
  • If they can’t hear you, they’ll follow your emergency plan automatically.

🧑‍⚕️ Operators can contact EMS, a neighbor, or family depending on your setup.

What If I’m Not at Home?

If you’re using a mobile alert device, it includes GPS tracking to help responders find your location.

  • 📍 The operator can see your location in real time.
  • 🚑 Help is sent to where you are—even if you’re out walking or driving.

🏞️ These devices are great for errands, travel, or daily walks.

What Happens During an Emergency Alert?

  1. You press the button.
  2. The device connects you to the monitoring center.
  3. A trained agent responds and talks with you.
  4. If needed, they call:
    • Emergency medical services
    • Your listed contacts
    • A neighbor or caregiver

📋 You can customize who gets called and in what order.

Accidentally Pressed the Button?

Don’t worry—it happens!

  • Just tell the agent it was an accident.
  • They’ll cancel the alert and confirm that everything’s okay.
  • No emergency team will be sent unless you tell them you don’t need help.

🚫 Never hesitate to press the button—better safe than sorry.
